| About Kairos Strategies |
|
Kairos Strategies is a product of two decades of working with innovative start-up companies and projects, some very successful and others not. It’s based on reflection about “windows of opportunity”, how to take advantage of them, how to create them, and the “special sauce” that makes ideas succeed. We've traditionally focused on helping organizations take advantage of opportunities created by emerging online tools, but are increasingly working on environmental sustainability (Clean Tech, Green Tech) as well.
At the core, Kairos Strategies focuses on the basic business strategy and planning that organizations need as a foundation for success. Layered over this is a deep understanding of emerging technologies (IT and Clean Tech) and the windows of opportunities they create for expanding value and reaching new audiences. Finally, Kairos Strategies adds a forward-thinking, out-of-the-box, paradigm-shifting mindset that open organizations up to broader opportunities. Paul Hagen, Founder
Prior to forming Kairos Strategies, Paul was a senior analyst at Forrester Research where he led research efforts on technologies such as customer relationship management (CRM), personalization, customer experience, self-service tools, search and intelligent agents, online education, and knowledge management strategies. He regularly advised execs at Global 2000 companies like Fidelity, Toyota, Lands End, and Adobe on their strategic IT initiatives. His opinions on technology trends have been widely quoted in national media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, Business Week, and National Public Radio.
